Lake Malawi

Blue Zebra Island Lodge is on a tiny island in Lake Malawi, called Nankoma. Three uninhabited islands make up the Marelli group: Nankoma, Maleri and Nakantenga.

The islands support diverse aquatic habitats, flora and fauna, with a dazzling array of birdlife. Significant to the area are some of the most rare and colorful Cichlids in the world: a species of fish that have earned this site its UNESCO accreditation.
